Mexico has always appealed to me and I’ve heard nothing but good things about it from people who have visited. My perception of Mexico prior to researching into travelling there, I must say, was a very stereotypical one based on what I had seen on the televisions and in films. Thoughts of Speedy Gonzales getting caught speeding and tequila loving gentlemen drunk driving through an open space dotted with Cacti did spring in to my naive mind. The most interesting photos and good information I found were based around Mexico City though. I like architecture, modern and historical, so was very interested to see this image of the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores or Mexican stock exchange building that shows the real futuristic side of Mexico City in amongst more traditional buildings like the city hall. I also like the look of the Museo Soumaya in the second picture, with its voluptuous exterior and space age sheen.
